Concept: This project consisted of two separate billboards to be created. Each billboard was created with the theme of “hunger” in mind.
The first billboard was created to raise awareness for the lasting effects that the Flint Water Crisis has brought to the Flint area. Though the water may be clean now, there are many lasting effects that the citizens of Flint are trying to not have brushed under the rug. This billboard showcases a "guerrilla" marketing strategy to evoke shock with a mental model of a popular water enhancer brand.
The second billboard was curated with the idea of feeding hungry children in Detroit in mind. I employed a sense of empathy and a call to action in my billboard to invoke emotion.
